If you had the opportunity, which nationality would you choose? Why do we have a nationality? What is a nation-state? Can I
no longer identify as an Argentinian, Swiss, Senegalese, Chinese, or Australian? Should I accept the unpredictable and haphazard arbitration of destiny, which determined my birth and thus imposed cultural, social, and artificially constructed factors in my identity, such as nationality? Is there a universal right to just be a global citizen?
All these questions must be asked to uncover who we truly are, because our interests, desires, personalities, expectations, and possibilities are deeply influenced by the geography, history, and society that gave us birth. A global passport is required to be a global citizen, a passport that identified us all as offspring of the same land and with the same right to inhabit, enjoy, and delight in it, regardless of where we were born.
All of us have the right to our GLOBAL PASSPORT, we are all citizens of the world!
